ARTractor is a media unit at Speaking Creation Inc. We aim to producing video episodes and printed issues coveraging creative aspects of making fine arts and to inspire understanding, loving, making and sharing creativity. The content of both ARTractors (YouTube channel and magazine) is a combination of art talks, interviews with the creators about their ups, downs, expertise and inspirations and other interesting stories about life in the art world.
We work to pull an audience closer to creators of art. We work to inspire more people to love art and to make art.
'ARTRACTOR' = Art + Attractor + Tract-or
Art. Art is the expression of ideas and emotions through a physical medium, like painting, sculpture, film, dance, writing, photography, or theatre.
Attractor. In simple terms, an 'attractor' is something that pulls a system towards a specific state or behavior. Imagine a marble rolling in a bowl: it will eventually settle at the bottom of the bowl, which is the attractor in this case. Attractor is usually a point of security, sertisfaction, self-realization.
Tractor. The word 'tractor' was taken from Latin, being the agent noun of trahere "to pull", "drawing out," "extension," or "a course". Tractor is a high-power vehicle unit, specifically engineered to deliver a high tractive effort.
At the ARTractor we meet people - artists, art experts, art activists - to hear their first hand expertise about all aspects of art life. In their interviews creators share their rear knowledge, give hints on possible ways of making art and explain what stays inside the canvas and needs, sometimes, more insights to be understood.
We, in the Speaking Creation Inc., love to meet extraordinary people - creators, collectors, critics, art activists. While a profound authentic conversations about artistic expression, challenges, vibes met on diverce cultural grounds or about current trends, we do give a mic to creators to present their art in their own voices telling their stories.
