Art With An Accent is our beloved program for featuring works, projects, activity shaped by strong cultural backgrounds. This program is designed to be promoting art where cultural roots defines the image, celebrating uniqueness.
We believe that "no accent" makes no art. Authenticity is what makes art captivating. It appears only when artist speaks naturally from the depth of thyself, revealing identity over imitating others' success.
Combining the love to nativity in cultures and believe in Accents making Art, this program highlights works where a cultural accent becomes a source of strength, not something to be erased.
We hope this program will positively influence the growth of mutual understanding and tolerance in the society.

Art With An Accent GALA festival will bring together colors, voices and visions that make life vivid. This multi-disciplinary program features music and visual art rooted in the native cultures of diverse immigrant creators living in the U.S. The focus will stay on works that carry distinct cultural accents, on the art that speaks clearly of where it comes from and who created it.
The festival aims to offer a space to items that promote recognition and respect to the essence of difference as the very substance of creativity.
